Donate for Tsunami Disaster Relief Now

• Our first 5,000 pounds of aid (blankets, sheets and food) sent by airlift from Manchester, England for Pukhet, Thailand.

• WER team led by US director Gary Becks and US volunteer Andrea Stone leaves for Bangkok and Columbo, to purchase local aid and assess partner relations and good GIK pipelines.

• WER (UK) secures 40,000 pounds of commodities from Glasgow The Caring City, and is shipping ASAP.

• WER/US links with Interaction, included on their national “agencies responding” press release.
  
• San Diego media publicize our efforts, including team departure for Sri Lanka from San Diego tonight.
  

• WER (UK) releases emergency funding, £29,000, for immediate local aid delivery.
